In May 2018, the Government of the Republic of Serbia issued a decision granting the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops the status of National Institute.
In the year of the Jubilee, when the Institute celebrated 8 decades of existence, it was confirmed that rich experience in theoretical foundations and practical activities deserves recognition for the contribution it makes both nationally and globally.
This proves once again that top results and scientific achievements lead to the development of agricultural practice, and the 80-year long history has been crowned with the new status of the Institute, the national institute.
