The Climate Crops Centre members participated in a workshop on \u2018Non-invasive plant phenotyping approaches and research infrastructure management<\/strong>\u2019 and training school \u2018Phenotyping summer school<\/strong>\u2019 organised by the Research Centre J\u00fclich<\/a>, Institute<\/strong> of Bio- and Geosciences (IBG-2): Plant Science (March 4th\u20138th, 2024).<\/p>\n

Participants from Serbia, Italy, Spain, and Germany travelled to J\u00fclich to learn about state-of-the-art plant phenotyping approaches for lab and field phenotyping, as well as about research infrastructure and science management.<\/p>\n

Beside exceptional lectures on different approaches for quantitative analysis of root and shoot traits delivered by the team from IBG-2, the training school gave the opportunity to get hands-on experience on different root and shoot phenotyping approaches, including image and data analysis.<\/p>\n

Both the workshop and the training school were organised within the CROPINNO<\/a> project<\/strong> (HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-02-01: Stepping up Scientific Excellence and Innovation Capacity for Climate-Resilient Crop Improvement and Production, CROPINNO, Grant Agreement No. 101059784).<\/p>\n<\/div>
