A principal investigator for the scientific field of biotechnical sciences and the head of the Centre, <\/span>Prof. Dr. Dragana Miladinovi\u0107<\/b>, is this year’s winner of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Scientific Excellence Award for the field of biotechnology and agriculture<\/b><\/span>, sub-field of field and vegetable crops<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the Provincial Government, on December 7, 2023, awards for scientific excellence were presented to researchers in the territory of AP Vojvodina for the year 2022. Awards from 19 scientific fields, i.e., sub-fields, were presented by the Provincial Secretary for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Zoran Milo\u0161evi\u0107, to the most cited researchers who are employed in scientific research organizations on the territory of the province.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of 78 researchers responded to the public call for the award of <\/span>RECOGNITION FOR SCIENTIFIC EXCELLENCE for 2022<\/b><\/span>. Within each scientific field, the three most influential researchers received this prestigious award. A total of 60 recognitions for scientific excellence were awarded, from 19 areas or sub-areas. When evaluating scientific excellence, the expert commissions evaluated the number of citations of the scientific papers of the registered researchers achieved in the year preceding the year in which the recognitions were awarded. The criterion related to the number of citations was determined based on data from the SCOPUS database.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Dragana Miladinovi\u0107, advisor for the scientific research<\/b><\/span>, received the Award for Scientific Excellence in 2022 as the second most cited researcher in AP Vojvodina for the field of biotechnology and agriculture, the sub-field of field and vegetable crops.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
