Dr Marjanovi\u0107 Jeromela stated that sunflower and soybeans are the most cultivated oil plant species in Serbia, which are grown on over 200,000 hectares, followed by rapeseed, \u200b\u200bwhose production area is increasing. Mustards, hemp, castor, flax, poppy, sesame and safflower are grown on smaller areas. She pointed out that among domestic and international seed companies, the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops dominates, and that Serbia is one of the largest European producers of soybeans and sunflowers.
